The town of Grand Valley was initially settled in 1855, when the George Joyce family built a log house and barn. The town has since developed and grown immensely, creating a long and rich history for itself and its residents. Today, the community is full of life, bustling with arts, culture and recreational activities, making it the ideal location to raise a family, downsize with your partner or enjoy retirement.

Arts and community are large focus in Grand Valley, as it is home to the Community Information Centre, Museum & Gallery, a centralized communication centre, museum and gallery that is run completely by volunteers. It was created to strengthen communication between community members and support local tourism. Additionally, arts and culture are only a small portion of the activities Grand Valley has to offer. The town is home to parks, an arena, sports fields and a community centre, where the kids can play and socialize or where you can sign up for activities to keep you busy.

You’ll also find Grand Valley & District Public School, which is only a short walk away from the new master-planned community, making it the ideal location for young and growing families.
